Same here a $350 powerhead with a $150 battery backup add-on and a $100 Driver upgrade kit - $50 after the return of the old one.
so $550 for one water movement device. That hurts just saying it out...

I would think that running small amounts of media...
I would think that running small amounts of media would cause it to get beat up more and break down.
Once your phosphates are under control adding the max capacity of media shouldn't stress...

I would have to agree, The fish must have been sick because the undertow isn't that strong.
My lawnmower blenny sticks himself to it to eat then jumps away when he's done.
