That doesn't necessarily make a dog unsocialized....just untrained. Or rather, partially trained. Becuase when a dog is learning a new skill you have to first teach him what you expect....true...

Be sure to NOT overfeed him...you want to be able to tell where his belly stops and his hips begin. In the larger breeds like this overfeeding as a puppy can weaken hips...
