i ran that same fixture for awhile and i think 1 actinic and 1 10k look best but if you like the blue look go with 1 actinic and 1 50/50 bulb but that combo was a bit to blue for me

imo if drilling is an option i say go for it, i have 2 syphon type hob overflows and have never had a problem with either but on a small tank they do take up alot of space and distract from the over...
