The Burbon Glass Pico

well got it going last night want to say thanks to inflames for your closed loop idea by moding it I was able to make this work.
Tank specs: 1gal "burbon glass" tank, 18w PC (coralife 2 x 9 W ,1- 10,000k & 1- actinic ) closed loop with heater chamber (see DIY closed loop w/ heater chamber (pico size) and auto top off system.
right now I just threw some frags, and small chunks of LR that I had layin in my 10 gal into this tank. I go the sand from a LFS out of a established system.
the first two pics are of how it looks the 3rd pic is with flash so you can get a better idea of the layout, and the 4th is the closed loop w/heater system (for those who have not seen it yet)

Incredible work!

As you add more coral, be sure to post more pictures.

Looks cool, now all you need is a 300 gallon sump in the basement.

I'll see what I can do for a pic. as for making the CPVC black I have herd of people using pvc primer to make it purple and people painting using Krylon Fusion paint but don't trust the paint and if I just wait a while it will get covered with coraline just like my other tank

yea yea if I had a basement that I could put a 300 gal in I would'nt be posting pics of this little tank LOL!
anyhow the piece of pipe on the left is for the AUTO TOP OFF (if you look at the top photo there is 4 pieces of pipe the two center one's are the closed loop the one to the right is the float for the ATO and the one to the left is the ATO water in )

Oh yea THANKS for all the good words

well as for evap. not sure on "quantity" but I do top off every day, I have the auto top off 99% finished I just gota get off my lazy a$$ and hook up the PH that is sittin in my "fish closet" I would'nt recomend doing a tank this small unless you hook up a auto top off or are willing/able to top off every day. sorry I can't answer your question a little better
