I just 'armored' mine because I put an anemone in the tank, (basically wrapped up in plastic craft screening) and they still put out a ton of flow.

This was my first attempt, and it worked ok, but the guard up front practically obliterated the flow. (not much point then ehh?)...

Their price on the RPE's and Purple Passion looks fair to me, if they are true clones of those sports, which i have no reason to believe otherwise.
