And the skimmmer... the Deltec AP1006.

Thanks again Doug for all the help and hands on instruction. Getting this thing back together was easier than I imagined it would be.

Wow this is going to be great! I also saw both your skimmer and Ca reactor and wondered where they were going!

This thing is going to be a monster! Too bad you didn't win that Marco Rock assembled center piece (or did you ). That thing would look great in your system!

Looks awesome! can't wait to see it come together!!!!

One question though. From the below picture, is the sheer size of this monster reef going to make the casual observer urinate on the support column in the middle of the fish room???

(am I the only one who thought this looked funny!?!?!?)

all kidding aside, great setup. It looks like an amazing project!

You can give me a hard time all you want, I'm very easy going

Any opinions on this: http://www.drsfostersmith.com/produc...3&pcatid=12683

A salt mixing container/system. Anyone see any advantages to just using regular containers?

what the heck? so many things they don't sell and they have that? And why 110g? Why not 160g or 200g to match salt buckets? Seems like a horrid waste of money to me.

I also thought it was kinda odd to see there considering the level of dry goods they tend to carry.

And it seems quite over priced vs. a container & circulation pump. I have no problem spending money for quality, but I hate wasting it too.
