If its FOWLR, I have a wet/dry you can have......its pretty big, I think it will be more then enough for a 135g...might help keep the maintaince level down.....and depending on the size of return...

they are cheap...BUT....the warranty will not...

IMO.....use a bleach solution first....then rinse...
IMO.....use a bleach solution first....then rinse and then use a vinegar solution (2to1)....dont worry about the bleach as it will precipate.....rinse, rinse, and then there you go.......

To clarify, you can buy either US or European/Japanese voltage
products (220 volts versus 110 )

agree that nitrates are cause......dump out the brain as thats toast.....and start 10% water changes and cut down on feeding...and whats your filtration cleaning schedule? I would clean your sponges...
