NItrates also go up when u overfeed, that may be the case? are you using any chemical additives at all? perhaps the calcium and what not are not sufficient.

Hi, i have an m58 ballast hooked up to one 250 watt MH 14000k, my question is:

can i hook up more than one bulb to a single ballast, and if so how many bulbs can a single m58 ballast support...

my m58 only fires up one 250w are u sure it can handle 3? then again i havent tried to fire up a second yet.

My assumption is taht one m58 ballast to each bulb... am i wrong here?

it should settle, NEVER do a dramatic water change, unless u are sure of what ur doing! maybe should have rinsed the carbon first! yes u can use the carbon after rinsing
