need help

I went to get my water levels checked today, and they were all fine besides just a little high on nitrate. Which I will be getting an absorber and some algae to clear that up. I wanted to know why my polyps won't come out and why my leathers are not opening up and their laying down like their dying but their not really dieing.. My mushrooms and anenome are doing fine. I have a 96 watt but the bulbs are prolly like 3 to 4 months old wasn't sure if maybe they need changed or something.. If any one could help on this situation. Thanks

how long have the corals been in the tank?

define all water levels are fine...

if your nitrates are high, do a water change, that'll bring them down.

what kind of polyps?

NItrates also go up when u overfeed, that may be the case? are you using any chemical additives at all? perhaps the calcium and what not are not sufficient.

aquarium

Well not sure about all the levels, but I talked to inland and they told me that when I took out a lot of the algae it shot up the nitrate. done two water changes, but I barely feed the fish. I am gonna try to get an absorber for the nitrate to see if that works.
