In my experience, Vortechs are not good at preventing accumulation of detritus on the bottom of a BB tank. Although I would prefer the look of the Vortech I would get the Tunzes.

In my experience, Vortechs are not good at preventing accumulation of detritus on the bottom of a BB tank. Although I would prefer the look of the Vortech I would get the Tunzes.

I agree that you need more turnover. A big tank will allow for innumerable dead spots. My 420 has around 35,000 GPH of internal circulation.
