Thanks guys. I have a bag of carbon in the back. No protein skimmer. I don't add any chemicals or test for them. I just do frequent water changes and everything has gone great.

Mine will look like that if they are in too much flow. It may not be a light issue.try turning off your pump and power heads for 15 min or more and see how they react.

it is probably being irritated by something you aren't seeing. if it were spawning you would definitely know. i have seen it on animal planet and stuff like that. it's a ton of little floating balls...
