When you say low, how low is the question. Raising the slaninity to sharply will create problems to the degree you are talking about. But is all comes down to how drastic of a change you made.

If there is any possibility of you wanting to keep SPS you might want to consider 175's if you can go the extra few bucks. I always try to think of future expansion when planning out somthing.
