Oh No!!! Help!

Hello everyone. In PA the last couple days we got some very bad weather. One thing led to another and my power was out. So no problem, I transfered everything to a friends tank. Looked great when I went back to get it today. Brought it home...acclimated everything (drip) and placed it all in the tank. Then something made me want to check the salinity since i had forgotten to do that. So i checked it and sure enough it was low....
so i mixxed up some water and added it to the tank. the salinity is perfect now however since then, my peppermint shrimp has died, frogspawn is shrivlded up in his skeleton, mushrooms are small, and my polypsdont look great (not bad but not good)...
What did i do wrong?!?

Don't mess with it again for a couple of days. For future reference, if your salinity is low, wait for the evaporation to bring it back to where it should be, then add saltwater for topoff. Give it a couple of days, and see how it's doing. Don't try to chase parameters, it usually ends up bad.

When you say low, how low is the question. Raising the slaninity to sharply will create problems to the degree you are talking about. But is all comes down to how drastic of a change you made.

It also could depend a little on how quickly you mixed and added the new saltwater. i agree with the above posted. Don't mess with the salinity for a day or so. Raise it a little at a time, not more than .001 or .002 a day.
