Ok!Now we are not hijacking LOL!.Tomoko I called Hard-Rock and he wanted a dozen or so astreas so the amount is getting close to 100.

we can take delivery if you want at our office on university, because i know anyone that gets that package will know what it is if thats any help.

so what's is everyone thinking of buying? Just snails or anything from keys critters?

I am looking to get the cleanup crew for the 240...but it will consist of more than just snails.

Are we going to try and get up a $500 order to get the club price breaks or just try and group our order no matter how much?

I could be in for around $100. Depends how they break down the prices.

I sent a e-mail to Florida pets to see what he does have in and what he can do for us. Also they have free shipping over $50 if what I am reading is right if you live in Alabama. I am waiting to hear back from him.

I need Snails and Crabs too.

My order came to $90

I wanted the crabs only crew $22, snail and crabs crew $34 and Algae control Crew $34

I am waiting to hear back from Florida Pets. I talked with him this morning and he is willing to work with us. When I get the link it will be posted on our NARC web site for the Club Discounts and FREE Shipping

to our individual homes. Hope all are ok with this. It sounds good to me.

i checked their website, and it seemed like they were 'out of stock' on a lot of things--perchance i was at the wrong site? or they haven't updated? or they are in stock, but only if you know the secret password?!

No secret password or anything. She is working on a special club offer. I understand that they are restocking and be able to offer us a variety of livestock shortly. It may not get here in time for the December meeting, but they are willing to ship to our individual homes without additional shipping charges. Sounds like a great deal to me.

Ok this is what I have recieved. Here is the e-mail that Floridapets has sent to me. We can wait and order or if the rest of you would rather do some thing else just let us know.

Thank you for your e-mail and your phone call it was a pleasure to speak to you. We are a little low on a few things right now and are in the process of moving to a larger facility and house. Some of the items we normally carry may no longer be as readily available. I hope to make another trip to the Keys before properties close. If the Keys trip happens Dec. 1st + 2nd, we should have plenty of the usual FloridaPets items. If the trip does not take place, we will do are best to order what we can and offer different items.

don't know if this should be new thread or not, but i am going to be getting some shrimp and crabs not listed at florida pets, and i wanted to know if anyone else needed something from 'not there.' i am flexible on time, but i'm itching to start adding things!

I was not able to get to the Keys this weekend, but will be going to a wholesaler tomorrow. I will probably not be able to get the Astrea snails but will find some other items of interest. If you can think of something that a few people seem to want, I can look for it for them. I had seen some people talking about different kinds of shrimp, but not sure what types they were looking for? I do have plenty of Peppermint shrimp.
I will try to get your sale page ready for tomorrow evening, but it may be Monday before I can complete it.

How long do you think these could stay in the box before putting them in the tank? I would have to have these shipped to my work, which will be about 6-7 hours after delivery before I could get them home...do you think this would be too long?
