How much Substrate?

I am setting up an Eclipse 12 and would like to know how much substrate I should keep? Crushed coral or other?

dont know much about eclipse and their tank volume. i m guessin this is a 12 gal tank. if its 12, you might want around 15 # of LS which should make maybe a 1" DSB. you would need at least 12# of LR in this tank. you might go more depending on how you would want your tank to look like.

Heres a pic of my 10 gal with 20# of rock and 15# or sand.

umm guessin you would need to go to the thread on my 10 gal tank then.
