Solid purple LTA, whoohoo!

Hi guys.
Had to share. Not a great pic but I appreciate the LFS owner emailing it to me regardless. This beauty, a medium LTA, solid purple with pink/red tips, came in yesterday. They are holding it for me 'til Friday when I can pick it up. I haven't seen one of these for sometime.
The funny thing is, I almost bought one of these from LiveAquaria a few days ago, but the $135 price tag talked me out of it. Thank goodness I listened to that little voice
I got this one for less than half that!

Dr.Mac's got a
pretty cool looking one in too. I dont know how rare it is, but cool nonetheless.

Their Neon green BTA is neat looking as well.

that is a very nice purple one especially pretty with the red tips! Did your Gigantea not make it? Sorry to hear if it didn't.

Thanks guys. I can't wait to get this guy home.
R33f3r- Unfortunately, I don't think the beautiful green gigantea is going to make it. Its still very shriveled up and barely attached to the sand.
But, the big red haddoni is doing very well and already appears bigger!
I also got a really nice bright green, kind of highlighter green/yellow BTA from this same LFS. Its beautiful. I'll share some pics of it too when I bring home this purple LTA.

Wow I must have gotten real lucky. I bought my purple LTA for 22 bucks.

Unfortunately it died in a powerhead.

$22? Well, being in Florida, you probably get some great deals. Being in the MidWest, we have to pay for that extra shipping expenses

Yeah it was an awsome deal and the LTA was like 6 inches in diameter as well. It was nice.

Sonofgaladriel, I'm getting a bit concerned that you are turning into an Anemone junkie What's the plan ? One of everything ?

Yep, definately got the 'anemone bug'
I'm actually considering setting up separate anemone tanks, maybe 2 or 3, 40 gallon cubes to attempt a ritteri and one for the carpets. I've really got to get the red carpet out of the main display as its getting pretty big and I'm afraid that it will eventually catch some of my prized angels.
I think this purple LTA and the BTAs are safe in the main display, but I don't dare put a Magnifica/ritteri in there (after reading what's happened to a few other reefers when their mag/rit died).

Once you get the anemone bug, its hard to get rid of it.
