Knop CA Reactors

I just bought a knop C ca reactor and I am having a hard time tuning it. I set the bubble counter to 24 bubbles per minute last night and an effluent rate of 6 drops per minute. I woke up this morning and the effluent was like 3 drops per minute and the bubble rate was 13 per minute or so. I also noticed that there is a gas pocket under the piece in the media container below the black plastic piece that holds the spinge and media. How do I fix this? What should I do? Thanks.

I think so. I'm going to remove some of the media because I think it may be to full, then I will be able to see the top of the media and I will be able to see if it is agitated by water flow. I can see a stream of water in the air pocket it appears to be falling down.

Yeah it looks like it is circulating water. Any other ideas?
