Elegance coral - 'Disease' info

Can anyone with experience of this, what is thought to be a fungus or disease causing the death of the elegance coral give some information on it.

mine has been fine for 6 months but over the last couple of weeks its tentacle extensions has been poor. It doesn't have a loss of appetite nor is it detaching or showing any signs of tissue problems.

is there a general time scale between the first symptoms and death?

has anyone had a specimen recover if so what was their cure and cause?

also has anyone else noticed that in general the healthy specimens seem to have mid to dark brown tentacles while sick ones are very pale almost luminous.
does anyone have a deep brown if so have they noticed any link with lighting to gain this colour?

thanks
