Seio 820gph with a wavemaker

The literature says using a wavemaker on a Seio is not recommended.

Does anyone do it anyway?

Did you have any problems using it with a wavemaker?

Thanks.

It just won't work. The seio model line powerheads will not start on there own after turning them off. I have 2 seio 1100 and they are a pain in the neck. I have to keep mine extremely clean so they won't stop without turning them off.

You can try it but I doubt it will work especially once they get some time on them.

Regards,

Pat

What happens when you just plug yours in?
DO they start or do you have to mess with them?

they are not made to be turned off and back on over and over. I don't clean mine that offen and whenever the power flickers i have to check them because they probably didn't start back up.

Yes, I agree with everyone, my seio 1500's won't restart themselves when shut off. I think it is the calcium buildup on the shaft or ? that binds them up.
