YiKES! big tank!

Ok, Im thinkinig the best lighting for it would be 1000W pendents useing Lumanarc (sp?) 2? reflectors.

I would do one every 2 feet in that depth. thats would be a total of EIGHT 1000 watt pendents.

IF, you did the 6500K or 10000K bulb temp... you MIGHT be able to get away with a bunch of 400watts POSSIBLY, but if you are wanting MAINLY SPS, like Acros, Montis etc.... then I would definatly choose the 1000Watters!

Hope this helps...

You can always use Natural sunlight, but thats a bit more complex if you are indoors with the tank.. if it has its own room.. then yes..

OH!... You could do a 50/50 mix of 65/10K and 20Ks if you wish!

That way you would be getting EXCELLENT growth and color from them!

hope this helps out~!

400 watt DE bulbs, your choice of pendant or retrofit reflectors and PFO or Bluewave ballasts. Your tank is pretty deep so do some research. You can check oregonreef.com to check out his set up and get some ideas.
