Both are generally fine, and won't harm a shark.

Won't the shark eat the crabs. I had a banded cat shark, about 13 inches, that loved to eat glass shrimp. I must worn you, that the smaller sharks tend to be extremely dull. I hatched mine from an egg, and hand feed it, up till the point I finally passed it along. They are nocturnal creatures, and will typically find one place inthe tank and sit. Mine would only really eat if the food was on a stick and waved in front of its mouth. It would go after some shrimps, but again they had to be in close proximity. The decission to get rid of the shark came down when I had to transfer the fish from the tank in the bedroon, to the show in the living room. The Blue Angel started trying to peck out the sharks eyes, litterally. So, it was dumd the shark, or the angel.....well
