Deltec mce600: anyone order from the UK?

the pricing seems to be far better in the uk, although their shipping rates are unknown.

i dont know if there is an unseen hassle, ie, warranty, ac/dc current, or some shipping issue.

anyone with any experience??

Fortunately for me living in the UK, mce600's are cheaper but unfortunately for you they run on a different voltage, 240 here 110 in the states.

Not sure if that is possible, but cant see how a uk model would be that much different to a usa model. For reference I bought my MCE600 for about £190.

There have been a couple of threads on RC about using a UK Deltec, and they indicated that it was not a good idea; something along the lines of the aquabee pumps do not run correctly even with a voltage converter. I asked Doug at the Deltec forum about it, and his response was the pump would burn out, and he does not sell pumps individually. 190 pounds is about $100 cheaper than a new MCE600 here, but after factoring in shipping and perhaps replacing the pump, I wouldn't advise it. JMO.
