Thumbs up April Meeting.

Hello all,

Well I believe that todays meeting went very well. We got many things done. I believe that this society will continue to grow and prosper. We have many budding aquarists and specialized aquarists. We all have our focus areas, some it is brackish, freshwater rays, SPS, community, or what ever your areas are. This strength is going to bring us all together and grow. We are a vast group of aquarists with a vast array of knowledge that new and old members can draw upon.

I am very glad to see one of my dreams come true...SFAAS becoming a venue for new and experienced aquarist in the Sioux Falls area to share their knowledge. This society has been my baby for quite some time. It started with Ben and I hading out flyers with a little information and quite a laugh...if you want to see some of them I have them in a history file. I know but we had to start somewehre. It is in very good hands and will coninue to grow and become one of the best in the world. Yes, I know I am stating a very large thing, but we have a great group of people that can do anything we want if we put our minds to it.

I want to welcome all new members, and the leaders of the group of people that make up SFAAS. If you ever need any help of questions I am here for the society.

I AM VERY PROUD TO BE A MEMBER OF SIOUX FALLS AREA AQUATIC SOCIETY.

Oh yae....post here the ??? you want to know for going over in the April meeting. We can post also where the meeting will be, and what we would like to see happen at the next meeting.

It will not be long before we get a big name aquarist here to give a talk. Just put our minds to it and go from there.

Thank you all,

Grant C. Anderson

i would also like to thank everyone for comming to the meeting, it was great to see everyone. I also agree that this club is going to do very well in the future and it seems like we are well on our way to doing it.

Travis thanks very much for letting us use your home for the meeting and sharing your BEAUTIFUL tank with us all. i could sit down there all day and never get board watching it. very much worth the trip even though every trip to the meetings are worth it. i really enjoyed having the meeting at someone's home to share their tank and am looking forward to others in the same mannor.

For those where were unable to make it, the April meeting is tentatively at Chuck's house, pending approval of the owner of his house (his wife, I presume)

The date will NOT be the 3rd weekend of the month, as that is Easter weekend. So the meeting time and date will be announced when all the people concerned have talked it out.

I thought the meeting was good. I understand the need to go over the stuff that was covered, but I am more eager to hear more discussion about fresh water, salt water, ponds ect.... at future meetings.

Thanks again for filling me in and taking me to the meeting Grant.

I just wanted to say that I enjoyed meeting everyone at the meeting. And thanks especially for those who gave me some frags and rock. Everything looks great! I can't wait to see you all in the future.

Thanks!

Michael

not this time. The committee decided to wait on that until we could let everyone know about it so that those who are really interested could be there.
