Question new tank

I just started my tank and i have live rock and live sand. Its have been running for about 2 weeks.I looked at the tank and saw a little spot of algae on the glass.What does this mean?

It means there are nutrients in your system to support its growth which is pretty normal - What kinda algae, BTW?
