well,, as i mention....the ballasts are hit or miss and the bulbs usually stink. T5's in particular are usually only as good as there reflectors. But if the ballasts holds up and your eventually replace the bulbs with better ones you may be fine for a while

It only puts out 56 watts of light. Watts are not actually good for measuring light but if you'd like a comparison I have 390 watts of powercompact lights on my 55gal and it is barely adequate.

T5 wattage is not gauged the same as PC....T5 reflects much more light than PC lights, however like mentioned its all reflector dependant

what tank is it being used on....maybe on a AGA 33long It might be ok for soft coral.
