Tropic marine salt users how much salt per gallon?

on my 200 gal bucket of tropic marine pro it doesn't say how much to mix it says "the proper amount.

Well thats how much you need to add I think most salts are about 1/2 cup per gallon but that is just a starting point.

is it pro reef or standard?
what water is it being mixed with?

about 5/8 of a cup per gallon(varies a little each bucket-IME)

I use pro reef and 1/2 cup per gallon gets me there every water change.

I agree. I do 2 1/2 cups per 5 gallon bucket every time.

I use the same stuff and I always need to add a few cups extra (on a 32 gallon batch) if I do 2.5 cups per gallon.

I use an old salt bucket which holds aprox. seven gallons of water and it uses three cups of salt to mix to 1.024sg..............

1.024 is a little low though....you don't get there stated levels until 1.0264
