ID this (shrimp?)
Hey folks,
I just noticed something new in my tank today. It looks like some sort of shrimp, but nothing that I've ever seen. It's mostly white in color, with a few (what appear to be) blue spots. It was dark in the tank and he wasn't close to the glass, so it was hard to get a good look. Here's a few bad pictures: Any ideas what this is? My only guess is some sort of camel shrimp. Thanks! Ron

Got another look at him. The body shape does look very similar to a canel shrimp, but the color isn't. The body is white, the spots are a dark color and it sort of looks like little hairs coming off of it's body. It's about 1.5" long.
Any ideas?

LVFishGuy - I was thinking it was one of those. It kind of does look like it. Are they common in reef aquariums? Do they do any harm?
The little bugger must have been hiding in some rock I purchased a few months ago... Ron
