Stonogobiops yasha (whiteray shrimp goby)

I have a Stonogobiops yasha that has been about a month in my 144 gallon tank. He is only in the past week being seen more often outside his burrow. However my watchman shrimp goby seems to have become very territorial and has been trying to attack the whiteray when he sees him. Do you think this behaviour will cause too much stress for the whiteray and should i remove the watchman? tks for any advice.
