Need some advice on the Sprinkler system plumbing??

I am starting on my Sprinkler DIY and was wondering which of the two pictures would be the better way to run the plumbing?

The main sprinkler bar will be 5' long so I'm just wondering if the pressure to the far sprinkler will be lower in Pic #1.

I would think 2 would be the best to go with. I'm not positive but I think you're right about the pressure being lower at the far end of 1.

IMO, you would want to create #3. A complete manifold. If you can complete the loop of PVC and have the same size heads at each outlet, you should have equal water pressure.

I'm gonna go with #2..........Use 1 1/4" PVC and 4 sprinklers.
It will work fine for what I'm doing....

What is it that you are doing? Are using actual sprinklers? If so what kind are they ( pop up, gear driven)?
