I counted 43 eggs, this just came at a bad time, I'm leaving for Australia in a few weeks, I guess I should let these go, what do you guys think?

maybe see if there is a someone that breeds them near you and see if they would be interested in taking the fry? Would be pretty tough for you to raise them if you aren't going to be there but hopefully there will be many more chances.

Before it gets out of hand, keep the thread on topic, no discussion of trades, sales, etc., in the discussion forum areas.
Thanks.

Make sure you have someone well briefed on feeding them while you are gone or you may have a few weeks to get them back in breeding shape

Very nice!
The first batch from any pair doesn't usually very good survival rates anyway. Good luck on your Australia trip!

And please, please give whomever is watching your tanks all your RC info (and my #) so they can jump on and get help with any problems that may arise while you're gone. I think we've all heard to many horror stories of tanks gone bad while on vacation. I'm sure I'll talk to you before you go, but if not congrat's and have a safe trip.
