Can one keep a fridmani with an established royal gramma?

I have a very established royal gramma in a sparsely stocked right now 150. Can I add a fridmani or would this be foolish?

Rockwork is divided into two large caves, one of Fiji the other Tonga Branch.

I plan to add 2 tangs soon -- 1 atl blue, 1 sailfin, both in teh 3" range.

Thanks.

you can almost definitely do that, i'd just about recommend it.. i successfully did in a 55.. and my friend has them in a 50. (both are red sea wild caught).. beautiful fish, picture of mine is in my gallery..

if its a good size gramma, and its established, i'm sure it will be able to keep a curious fridmani in check.. mine get along in harmony.... if you do plan on adding other peaceful fish, i'd suggest adding the fridmani later. like a firefish, etc.

I was worried the gramma would destroy the fridmani...

i can speak personally for that not happening twice in 2 much smaller tanks.. in both cases the fridmani was smaller than the gramma, and the gramma was well established... i find grammas to be mostly a peaceful fish, and you have a very big tank. they might have a few standoffs in the beginning, but i would be very surprised if they couldnt share that much space together. pseudos are tough fish. its a risk i personally would take.... but there are never guarantees

Sorry to crash your thread, but i am in the same predicament!

I have a 360g with a pair of Fridmani's and wanted to add a pair of grammas, but didnt think i would get away with it!

The dottybacks are established but dont venture far from their cave.

What do you think?

Thanks
Mark
