I am not sure who dyed them. Yes, both of them are dyed IMHO.

The experts are probaby right, BUT< always an exception, huh. When I started out in marine, I was really taken by anemones. I had not done the necessary research to know that what I was doing was not going to work. I bought condys, LTAs, bubbles, etc... I even bought clownfish to host in each one. Another no no.

To make a long story short, I have 12 anemones in a 150g, some as close together as 2 or 3 inches. I do have to make an effort to assure that they don't get close enough to touch.

I am still in love with the anemones. All of them. Although I probably will not add any more to this set up.

If you have a large enough system, I believe, contrary to the experts, that you can house more than one anemone in the same tank. I will probably get grief over this post, but if you really want the two in the same tank and the tank is large enough, go for it!

I just looked at your tank size (after I posted). A 29g is not large enough for what you want to do. You would need at least a 40 to 50g to put those two in together IMO.

pluse those pictues the anemones mouths are gapping open. I would never trust a place where the colors are unatural or bleached, and the mouthes are gapping open. it just shows that they don't have healthy specimens and they think that it's ok to sell them unhealthy

I should have gotten back to this forum sooner. I will borrow my son's digi camera and try to post fome photos of all my anemones.

Right now I have a rock anemone and an LTA on the same rock. As far as chemicals, I think they have been together for so long, they don't battle any more. At least, none show the signs of stress because of it.

The biggest aggressor of the group are the condys. They seem to always try to test the water by "touching" one of their tankmates. If they don't get a reaction, they usually move within a day or so. The only anemone that shows any sign at all of not being a happy camper is one of the LTAs. He moves around quite a bit. But, he is the only one on the sand, but if a mushroom springs up close to him, he moves.

I will try to post some pics this weekend.
