My feather duster has come out of his tube. Will this be a problem if I have a Cleaner shrimp, fire shrimp and a peppermint shrimp? I had one come out a couple of years ago and I think something ate it.
Thanks for any help or experiences you give. |

I have had my feather duster for about 2 years now. About two weeks ago the green hair on it's stalk stressed it out so much that it jumped ship. I saw it crawl (it looked like a large blackish bristle worm) to a different location and bury itself into the sand where it has been ever since. I hope it's starting a new wig. Anyway, I figure it's just a worm and not to worry too much about it. Get another one if you miss the way it looked.

I just thought if the shrimp will eat it I could put it in my fuge until it has a new tube.
What do you think will the shrimp eat it? |

They usually drop their crown due to some sort of stress, including starvation. Once it regrows the crown, be sure to feed phytoplankton.

It was probably your peppermint shrimp. Ours munched on all our feathre dusters. Now the only ones we have are in the fuge.
