Fish compatible with Sharks

Ok, I have decided to just get a baby coral cat shark and a blue-spotted ray for my 90 gallon while I upgrade to a 360 gallon. What are some other cool fish that I can get with along with these 2 while they are all babies? Would a clown triggerfish, a zebra moray eel or a large angel work? Can you have clownfish with these fish as well?
Thanks

Agreed, also none of the fish you mentioned should be kept with a shark... Eel's can make a meal out of a pup, angels are known to pick out the eyes of sharks, and clown triggers should be in a tank alone, they will kill everything eventually. Sharks and Ray's need a tank by themselves; any fish that is safe for the shark could become lunch.

if you get rid of the shark you could probably keep a lion in there. No sharks with lions cause sharks are clumsy and it would only be a matter of time before the shark bumped into the lion.

A conversation I had with Dgenr8 today comes to mind. Those big tank plans have a way of just not happening when you want them to. So it's better to just go with fish that will work well in the tank you have, and wait till you actually have that big tank up and running before getting fish that will require it

Assuming you do get the larger tank you could get pilot fish or a species of remora.

I don't know why they actually sell remoras? They are very ugly and the only sharks that use them are requiem sharks (require enormous tanks)...

Please don't get the shark and ray untill you have the tank setup. I would also reccomend that you don't get the blue spotted ribbontail ray. They are ones of the hardest ray species to keep.

But to answer your oringial quesion I would not add any fish that eat sessil inverts to a shark/ray tank(triggers, angels, butterflyfish, puffers ect.) These species will communly nip out the eyes of sharks and rays. I would also not add any venamous fish like lions because they can envenomate a shark/ray. A clownfish or eel would be good tho.

If the clown is a larger species(ex large adult female maroon clownfish) There they won't be a problem.

yea remoras aren't the greatest. They get large eat everthing(so it would be difficult to feed the shark and ray) and can even pester sharks in the aquarium by always hanging on them.

I have the book Aquarium sharks and rays, and it definitely says to avoid triggers, butterflys, and angels. I have a yellow tang and a blue hamlet and a juvenile snowflake eel (and a few small damsels) with my juvenile white spotted bamboo. Everything gets along well. The yellow tang even exchanges kisses with the shark, and rubs up against the blue hamlet. It's weird!
