tank temp ?

What is the average tank temp for a reef tank. Mine runs between 77.5 to 80.5 all year. Is this getting to cool? I have a 90g reef tank with 2 250 10k mh and 2 110w vhos, no chiller. I have been reading alot of threads about tank temp running anywhere from 80 to 83 and also been reading that the reef tanks should run as cold as 76. This is conflicting with other information that I have been reading and that the average temp for corals is somewhere between 80 and 82. This make sense since all the reefs in the world are warm waters.

My tank has been around 73 degrees all winter. Summer time it gets up to 70 to 80. Everthing seems happy.
