The boys were back...

Did anyone get to see it hear the reunion of Pink Floyd last night? I couldn't believe Waters was back. Gave me chills. I got the first song or so on TiVo, but got the rest of it on cassette through XM Radio. It's about to come back on shortly on XM (replay), so I'm hoping I can get it all with both channels this time (right channel wasn't plugged in for the first song...). Never thought I would see it... It's probably their only appearance, but I enjoyed it anyway, though it was only four songs.

I remember when Led Zeppelin did the same thing at Live Aid 20 years ago. I was rockin' on a hillside in Georgia listening to it on a dinky little radio. Pages guitar was out of tune and it still sounded good at the time. I missed Floyd yesterday but heard Money and Comfortably numb on 105.9 washing the truck today. They played it slow. I didn't think it would ever happen either.....very cool

Yeah, I wish I had a home burner. Now I just have to find a technophile with something that will take it from cassette to digital so I can put it on a cd. I got the Who, the Floyd, Paul MCCartney, and Neil Young. Floyd was definitely the highlight, though Linkin Park and JayZee did an awesome set (I'm not much into either, though, but great set).

this should give you a little crash course gary. It's a filesharing concept that has been going pretty strong for a few years now...especially in the online live music communities such as etree.org

I thought Floyd blew everybody away. THe Who didn't even need to be on stage, whew. My only complaint was MTV cutting in, *** were they thinking? I'll bet there will be a DVD in DTS/Surround soon available to us hardcore fans
