Back From IMAC!

Hey all!

I'm back from IMAC. I hope that when Bill, Larry and Joe get back they will post about the good time they had too.

I got back in late last night. I had no problems getting my new clams and corals on the plane...although the bag to one of my croceas decided to pop 1/2 way in flight and make a mess in my bag, but it was all good.

When the lights come on this morning I will take some pics of my new corals/clams and post'em.

I hung out at the FragExchange booth with all of my mid-west buddies for most of the weekend. I got some great (and some VERY crazy) pictures of the after hours parties we attended.

The lectues were great. I didn't get to see too many of them b/c I was helping out at the FragExchange booth a lot and on Sat I went into Chicago to do some sight seeing.

I brought a regular camera, so I have to get the pics developed.

Maybe all who went can give me their pics and I can put it into a precentation for the club?? I'd love to do that.

The weekend was great. I wish you all could have been there with us.

Well, all I can say is that one of the 2 cameras that I brought with me is now in the hands of one of my buds over at FragExchange. Apparently I took some "incriminating" photos and he won't give me those pics. haha. I can also say that when you combine a bunch of reefers, alcohol, and some dance music, things get a little funky.
We drank a lot of booze and smoked a few cigars. I brought a whole bunch of cigars, and we ended up buying more of them while we were there (good thing the bar/club at the hotel sold cigars!).

Ahh...memories that will last a lifetime....or atleast until we do it again at MACNA!

I was with FragExchange for most of the conference. Sat I went out into Chicago (even though I was hung over..haha) to do that Taste of Chicago (where I didn't even eat anything b/c I was hung over) and then I went to The Shedd. I got back around 3pm and then went back to the FragExchange booth. We were trying to give away all of those frags we had On Sunday. It was so weird b/c people didn't want to take any!!!! We had to yell out, "Come and get FREE frags!!!". Then finally people started to take them. Sheesh. All we ask is that you leave a small donation for the site. A few bucks is cool with us...more is better though.

I only saw Larry on Sunday afternoon as we were breaking down the FragExchange booth. I saw Bill quite a few times.

Did you get any of that new salt from SeaChem Joe? I wanted to take some home (they were giving it away to some of us at our booth), but to carry that on the plane would have been a nightmare with all the other stuff I had.

Oh you were one of the people at the pirate party.

I didn't get any of the salt. I'd like to try it but didn't feel like dragging around 15lbs of salt in my luggage.

June,

I can't view your pictures... I see you hosted them on "kodakgallery (formerly ofoto.com)... it's a pain sometimes to get those to view because your albums are generally password protected. There's a way around it, but I forgot what you're supposed to do. Sorry that's no help.
