LOVED IT! graphically oh well, it's not half life 2 or doom3. but gameplaywise the squad action is amazing. i think this will take up way to much of my time for the next year.

Game servers are very processor intense. If it isnt a dedicated server I wouldn't bother.

I got it, It was alright, graphics were pretty good, and seeing an artillery barrage come down was pretty cool.

I like the commander mode, but it's an obvious ripoff of that game "savage" that came out a while ago.

But for as squad based gameplay it seemed like BF1942, on any of the public servers I was on it was just rush, rush, rush to the vehicles. Or to the hill you can snipe from.

I guess it'd be different on a clan server, but I didn't see many good ones when I logged on (yesterday).

But if you like squad based organized FPS, I'd recommend Planetside to you.

It's a MMOFPS, (Massivily Multiplayer Online First Person Shooter), so it's NOT an RPG. It's a mix between BF1942, Tribes, and unreal tournanment.

It's great fun if you get into a good outfit (clan, guild etc), and the squad based gameplay is great then.

Also there's new content that comes out every week, which is cool.

And if you want a free trial, or information for the game, give me a PM and I'll hook ya up with some.

No more Apaches raining down hell like in DC. There's even a BF2 server named Reeftank!

Its alright, but people can so easily do an airstrike at the start and get tons of kills (record is 20 with ONE)

Another downside is you dont need much strategy. I think its alright, not what I expected. I give it a b-.

I like games where they have rounds, you get one life, you die your out and have to wait till that round is over. requires much more strategy, planning, and you have to work with your team to not get shot.

Oh, one thing I did like is the graphics. A++ on graphics!
