Cool Snail Shell

I have a halloween hermit living in this shell, the shell is so cool, it has blue points sticking up all over it. Anyone know what kind of snail it was at one time?

Very pretty shell...if your hermit ever decides to change residence and move into a new shell, I'd snatch that shell out, lol.

I bought him already in that shell, the shell is what caught my eye. I've had him a little over a month and just two days ago or so he got too big and abandoned that shell for another. Think I should take it out and display it on a shelf or leave it in the tank as a decoration (although it will no doubt get moved around in the tank)?

Sure it's not painted? Many of the land hermit shells have all kinds of stupid stuff painted on them (i.e. Spongebob, etc..). Perhaps someone gave this hermie a painted shell?

I'd let it in there, maybe somebody else will take up residence in there... put it out in front of your tank so that you can see it though... Very pretty indeed!!!
