Thumbs down My fish hates me

Are most ocellaris this agressive?

I recently moved my fish's host - a turbinaria coral - and she charged and bit my hand. Of course I jumped and pulled my hand out. Now that the fish knows I'll jump she has become ferocious. Yesterday she literally chased my hand right out of the tank. I mean, I was jerking my hand out of the water and she broke the surface of the water and still got me.

Am I just being a wimp? I don't want to find out if those little teeth can draw blood.

I have a tomato clown that attacks my hand. It will and has drawn blood. I also have 2 (in another tank) ocellaris clowns. These 2 never bother a thing. When I put my fingers in the tank with some flake food they will actually eat the food from my fingertips. So I think you just have a bully. LOL

This is so stupid. I used to go fishing all the time. I used to grab bass by the lip. Now I'm afraid of a 2" clownfish.

My clown hates me, too. It think it was ever since i had to euthinize his mate. Now whenever i put my hand in the tank, he swims up, and begins to charge my hand, and throws water all over it. he also bites pretty bad, too.

My big female GSM use to be the sweetest fish, but then I went and added an anemone - a home for her to protect. Now, whenever I get in the tank, she tags my hand at least a half a dozen times. And, yes, she has drawn blood - not that often, but it has happened two or three times.

I do have a ring on my left hand, and whenever my left hand is in the tank, she always, I mean always, hits the ring instead of my finger - kinda nice. It's a nice "clownfish guard."

Cheers
Mike

The GSM I had in my 55G would attack my hand anytime I would put it into her tank. Notice that I stated "her" tank. She was the boss of everything in that 55G tank and she was vicious. I tried everything to get her to calm down and stop attacking but no good. Some fish are just really vicious I guess. I tried the flicking that bones stated but all that did was make my GSM attack me even worse. She did draw blood a few times. I finally got tired of her attacking my Perculas that I got her a new home. Both the GSM and the pair of Perculas used to live happily together then one day "BAM" my GSM went into ultimate b**ch mode.
