Hello HRRC

Just a hello, I usually post in Richmonds page because I'm in the middle...Urbanna. Thought I would fill ya'll in on my tank. 65g rr with a 37 gallon fuge. 400w MH and 220w of vho actinic it hurts to look at it lol. Just got an RO/DI unit and 60 #'s of sand. Now I am staring at a well filled cloudy mess. Next step is for live rock. Do ya'll have any suggestions? Any rock that ya like or have had good experience with? Anyone selling rock locally and affordable? Can't wait to get this sucka running been looking and designing it since december and ready for some life. Thanks ya'll.

Hey welcome! You might be able to ask Mike from Strictly Marine,in Hopewell,to find some rock for you.He also has a tank of mixed rock in the store. It is already cured and there are different shapes and sizes to choose from. He's very helpful when it comes to setting up a new syatem.

Ooohhhh!!! Black market live rock. Sounds interesting

I get my live rock from Dr.Mac on the eastern shore. It might be a really long drive for you though.

I get mine from Leroy at Fish Safari. I usually get a raw unopened box and cure it myself.

gregvabch,

I have suspended your second account.
There is no reason to have two accounts here on RC. I would like for you to email me and explain why you feel you are the exception and can have two accounts. dj88@reefcentral.com

If I don't hear from you within the next 48 hours from right now, 11:19PM my time, I will have no choice but to suspend your account. Sorry.

Cheers

wow! well.... since i'm sure everybody is just DYING to know why I have two accounts, i'll explain.

I was planning on changing my screen name to gggreggg instead of gregvabch simply because i anticipate being in the hobby and using this site longer than i anticipate living in virginia beach. I had every intention of deleting gregvabch as soon as my premium membership with gggreggg was up and running but i guess i'm labeled as a troublemaker now

Greg,

All it takes is a PM to a staff member and we can change your profile name.

Easy as that.

Skimmer is running charlie, as the tank is still basically sterile no skimmate but the skimmer is definitely running.
