Seachem Garlic Guard

Can Garlic guard be added straight to a reef tank to boost the fishes imune system.
I have a few fish that have ich in a large reef tank that is preventing me from catching the fish out and placing them in QT for treatment.
I am looking to fight the ich off for about 7 months when I will be moving and tearing down the whole tank.
I have been soaking the food in this stuff to help, but was wondering if it can be added straight to the tabk water to help even further.

I'm not sure about direct adding to tank, but I do know that soaking your food as you have been will definitely help your fish. I have begun to soak my food in garlic as normal procedure now.

Adding garlic to the tank can overdose it.

Best results I have found is from homemade garlic juice. Check this out:
