yeah, well technically it's just a black cutting board, but it serves the same function.

Oh, I almost forgot. Here in the next few days, maybe this weekend, I'm going to be having a yard sale so-to-speak of reef tank equipment, so if anybody is interested, here's what I'll be selling.
Sequence 3600 pump w/ saltwater conversion kit (only run once to make sure everything works) - $160 Approximately 1.5 feet of 3/4" lockline modular pipe - $10 C-Balance (never used) - $15 Prizm protein skimmer (rated for 60 gallons) - $40 Custom sea life protein skimmer (not sure how many gallons it's rated for) without pump - $50 w/ mag drive 3 - $75 Thats all I can think of for now, the list may grow though. Let me know if you're interested in anything.

as far as I can tell it works great. The corals sure seem to like it B)
it basically just shuts off flow to 2 of the 4 outlets at a time. The sequence is 1&2, 2&3, 3&4, 4&1, and it creates a TON of random flow. As far as I can tell, it doesn't cut down on flow that much, except for the fact that it splits the return.

Oh, maybe he sold it then. Last time I was in he had a ton of different kinds of gorgonians in the 10 gallon above his coral tank, on the far left. One of those was a purple gorgonian just like the one I have. Either way, if I can figure out how to frag it without harming it, then you'll have a piece by the next meeting

Ah thanks, that's pretty much how I figured it was done, but I never would have thought about cutting off the flesh on the bottom.
