March meeting

Just want feedback for March's meeting.

Thanks

Brad

Oh, the frag fest would involve a charge for the purchase of the coral that is to be fragged

How much are people willing to chip in toward a coral to frag? I'm around $10-20

Depends on what it is and how big the frag is...

If we're just talking an inch or so, probably around $15.

I've got room in my tank if you want to house the thing in my tank for a while. Only problem is that I work full time now (don't have friday's off to receive shipments) unless it's a saturday delivery.

I also dont have the lighting to support that with PCs, but as Lamphere stated I dont mind learning.

At some point we could also do an LPS frag. Something interesting like a wall colony (using maybe the rubberband method or something), or an acan.

Yeah, we don't have the lighting to support an acropora, but I'd love to do some softies. Even just learning about the acros would be cool though.

PC's arent going to cut this one I dont think. However, I do like the looks of this one. If I was to throw in for a frag, could someone hold it in their tank for me until I upgraded my lights? I do have a MH kickin around, and I'm going to be building a new hood, so...

Yeah Ethan, I've got room if you want...

You can decide whether my tank is worthy or not when you come on the 29th.

Yo Erik,

Dont think that I didnt go right to your gallery to see how worthy, like james, your tank is.

But seriously, I've seen the pics you've posted and I dont think that is a concern in the least. I really appreciate your offer.

Ha!
I have to change my gallery, those pictures are a bit dated, probably 5 or so months old... I still have a piece of Tom P's A. Elseyi in my tank that keeps growing and coloring up that'll get fragged when he gets his redbugs in check.

I don't mind being the acrorphanage

Hey Brad, thanks by the way for picking up that coral for us. I didn't doubt that you'd pick anything but the best. Let us know when you need the green.

The coral will be here on Tues. I dont need $$ now, but I would like a count so I can plan how to frag it in March.

I thought everyone would like this coral.
