Chances are the Angel will pick at its back and fins. The bamboo sharks are pretty defencless when small. Tangs will be fine with it. They are nocturnal, if you get one make sure it has a place to hide during the day.

They are actually pretty cool. I hatched two of them a few years back. They lived very well in a community tank with two Tangs and a pair of Maroon Clowns. When they got to be about 12" I gave them both to a friend. Both sharks died shortly after they were moved. They just stopped eating and a few weeks later died. What size tank is he keeping his in?

I had a morish idol in with my Califonia Horn Shark, and they did not bother each other what so ever. The morish idol ate spectrum, while the rest of the tank, shark, bird wrasse, grouper, ect, all get tiger shrimp. Never a problem with any of them. The morish idol is the only one that does not care anything for the shark, and goes where ever it wants to. The rest all give the shark "room". By not getting to near him, especially when he is eating. I guess it is because the morish idol gets his own foods, and does not understand the nature of the shark going after the tiger shrimp.
