more than one pair of clowns in a 75?

I have four rose BTAs in a 75 gal with a pair of Maroons. Is it possible to add a pair of skunks?

Maroons are mean and the skunks are way passive - most likely the skunks will loose the battle. Probably not worth the risk.

Not a good idea if you are looking for harmony in your tank.

While your on the perc topic... mind if I ask a question?

What would you suggest to add with a single lonely looking tomato? I love the idea of marrons, but they are 'special order' here only.

So like Rays said, what kinds of pairs can be kept together? Yes I"ve read the perc thread...

The best thing to do, is get a colony of clowns, while they are very young. With several anemones, put in 4, 5, 6, or more clowns that you got all together. What I mean by all together, is not one here and one there, but some that came into the LFS all in the same bag. See if you LFS can get some that were born together. This usually works great for keeping several clowns in the same tank. In the end, you will not have several pairs, but more likely a harem of one female and multiple males. The dominant male will pair up with the female and share the best anemonee, while the others will spread amongst the other anemones. This is the way a friend of mine gets his pairs. He has a 125, and started out with 20 very small Ocelotis (sp). When he got a pair established, he took them out and used them to breed, but the others continued on to have one become female. He still has about a dozen in that tank, that get along great. He also has more anemones now than he does fish, LOL.
