Nice Macro photo of rare zoanthid

Hello,

I have been taking tons of photos lately. I took this pic of a rare zoanthid. I hope you enjoy it BTW, notice that the coraline algae looks natural and the white areas in the photo are actually white. This photo is as close to "natural sunlight" as I can get.

Yes, that is an accurate description. The white/pink part looks more like pale pink to the naked eye. The yellow part shifts from yellow to green. The bad news is the polyps are small and they are hard to see unless you have them situated for very close viewing.

I got them in a trade with a fellow RC'er who got them from some live rock. So far I know of two people who have found these zoanthids on live rock.

I don't know if anybody cares but the zoanthids I was thinking of are similar, NOT the same. Thus, I should have said; "I know of two people with similar but unique zoanthids." I'm sure this is more than anybody cares to know but I wanted to correct my post
