Post October or November meeting

Just looking to see if we are interested in having another meeting before the holidays. I thought that it might be good to plan one for the end of October or early November and make it the last one until after the holidays. Is anyone interested in hosting a meeting and what date is convenient?

Also, I think that we need to start promoting our club. We should discuss this at the next meeting. I noticed that most of the LSFs have business cards at their cash registers. So of the cards I have seen are for supporting businesses. We should be able to do the same thing. That is, make up some cards with club information and the Website. Also, there was a sign in some of the shops, we need to make sure that all the shops have signs and/or make new ones. I am interested in doing this because I believe that we need to grow a little. We are all interested in seeing more in home setups and I have met a lot of people in the aquarium shops that are doing reef systems. If we had business cards that we could give to people as we meet them it would help get the word out.

I would be interested in attending another meeting this year. I was thinking early November sometime so that it would not be such a long stretch until a January meeting.

All,
I would be interested in an Oct or Nov meeting. I have planned on attending the last several meetings only to have to fly out of town on business at the last minute. So far I have no travel plans for Oct....so far so good.

Keep me posted.

Good it's the 13th now where? I am willing to have it at my home off of Blanding north of 295. How does that sound or does someone else want to sponsor it this time?

I know I haven't made it to any meetings, life keeps getting in the way. But as a budding graphic designer, I'd be willing to submit some business card mock-ups for the next meeting. Someone can just let me know the information needed on the card and I can have something done for the next meeting or earlier. Just let me know.

OK! it's at my home on the 13th.
Also, Edge let me think about what should be on the business card. Mike should be a big help with this. We will need our websites, maybe a contact number and some basic info on the club.

I’m sorry I have been without a computer for a while and have been busy at work. The directions to my home are:
Take I-295 to Blanding Blvd., go north on Blanding 4 lights to Duclay Road. (one light past Collins) Once you reach Duclay you will see a Texaco Gas Station. Turn right onto Duclay Road. My home is about 10 houses up on the right 6265 Duclay. You will see my Green Chrysler Sebring Convertible in the driveway.
I would hope to see everyone there and invite anyone who might have interest in the meeting. We love having new people come to the meetings. Robert the new LFS should be coming and Dave from Middleburg said that he might be able to drop by. So it looks to be a good meeting.

I will not have access to the Internet after 5pm today (Friday the 12) so if anyone has questions on directions or the meeting after 5pm today you may call me at home 374-0734 or cell 705-8081.

Pat,
Thanks for hosting! I'll be on the lookout for the next meeting.

Let me know when you are ready to frag some of your zoas!
