Welcome to Roanoke Valley Reef Club

Hey everyone! I'm just trying to get something going in the Roanoke area for all of us reef keepers. For now we have this forum to discuss whatever we want. Hopefully in the future we can start setting up monthly meetings and be able to check out peoples setups and trade frags and info.Email me with any questions or suggestions.
Thanks,
Jeff Floyd

hi jeff,
i just received an email from you and thought id stop by the forum to check it out. i live in martinsville, va (about an hour from roanoke) and visit roanoke pretty frequently. id love to see a reef club around this area, the closest i ever attend are meetings in Raleigh usually so Roanoke is a welcome change. if i can be of any help with setting up things just let me know.
thanks
david

hey david,
welcome to the club. hopefully we get a lot of traffic on this board. its great to be able to talk to locals and hopefully we'll get to visit and see some different setups.
btw, if anybody can make a better looking avatar for me with our club name on it pleasae do so. i'm not good with pictures and graphics on my cpu so i'd like something a little more proffesional looking. if a couple of people make them then everybody can vote and we'll use the winner.
thanks,
jeff

Welcome everyone I hope this takes off well. Thanks to jfloydr to take time to get this going. A few of us talked about doing this but nothing happened until now. Here is a pic of my acro if DarkDweller want to turn it into a avatar.

There is some way you can resize file without actually making the pic smaller but I don't know how.
