Talking

My mom lives there! I'm in SoCal though.........could be moving up there sometime in the future though! I sure love the area. I've done the Payette a few times too! Damn, I miss it up there, I need to go fishin', there are NO rivers down here.

If you come back you should try fishing the owahee river right below the resovoir. Its great, and full of huge browns.

Tren,

Isn't McMillan between Cloverdale and Five mile in northern Idaho??? IMO the best looking tanks are in Southern Idaho around the Fox Ridge subdivision...

Agree???

Here are some pictures of my humble southern Idaho reef:

Not a GARF tank but it is a GARF style tank...

BTW GARF is in eastern Idaho

Thanks,

Scott

Eastern warm springs... ...at least that's where I got some frags. Nice tank Scott! Is that the Idaho grape cap from GARF? [as currently named by S. Tyree] I think I've got that pink rimmed cap.

Actually Steve Tyree got his original frag of the Idaho Grape from me during the 2003 Reef Tour (traded him for a book). Currently the caps are my favorite corals. I collect as many different colors as I can. I need to get with Paul Sanborn and get a frag of a awsome colored green cap that came from my tank. I gave it to someone for safe keeping and it got sold...

I am always open to trades...

Thanks,

Scott

But Tren,

It was not a duplicate. It is a different shade and plates differently than the other green one you have... But I told you I forgave you right after I peed in your sump during your trip to Bakersfield. Remember???

Boy does that EuroReef skimmer work well...

Did I mention that I am a forgetaholic???

Love ya man,

Scott

Tren,

It was a image that was taken in the Cabarton section of the Payette. Theres a company that takes digital photos of the public and then sells them on a really cool website. Check it out at http://www.payetteriverphotos.com

Thanks,

Scott
